Effects of the 2% supramolecular complex of ivermectin in overdoses on horses

The purpose of the research is to study effects 2.0% supramolecular complex ivermectin in overdoses on clinical condition horses. Materials and methods. experiment was conducted 20 horses different breeds Seradin Equestrian Center, North Caucasus Federal District, Chechen Republic, October 2020. were divided according principle analogues into 3 test groups one control group 5 animals each. administered from 1 at a therapeutic dose 0.2 mg/kg; 2 received tripled 0.6 mg/kg, 3, 5-fold increased 1,0 mg/kg for active substance. drug once individually mixture with compound feed. body temperature measured non-contact thermometer, pulse rate respiratory per min. Urine examined days 1, 7 14 after drug. urine color, transparency consistency determined. Multifunctional paper used pH, protein, glucose, ketone bodies, nitrites, bilirubin, urobilinogen. Blood taken morning horses’ jugular vein Hematological biochemical parameters studied analyzers. Results discussion. Clinical fndings (body temperature, respiration) did not differ those therapeutic, doses 14. A slight increase bodies observed day which may indicate effect central nervous system dose; all within normal range (0.6; 1.0 substance) adversely affect hematological or blood parameters.
